Kiaan Corbett Resort is in the Ramnagar area of Uttarakhand, on the edge of Jim Corbett National Park. Although people may search for it under “Nainital,” it’s about a two-hour drive from the main Nainital hill station. Here, the appeal is a jungle setting with greenery and nature sounds, rather than high mountain peaks or lake views. The resort offers a comfortable base for being outdoors, with spacious, clean rooms and cottages in a contemporary style. There’s an outdoor pool and large, well-kept gardens for downtime, and the helpful staff and varied restaurant menu suit families with different tastes. Its location makes safari zones such as Bijrani and Jhirna easy to reach, where you might see tigers, elephants, and rare birds. The Kosi River is nearby for a quiet afternoon walk. It can work for families with kids who want the pool or nature lovers heading into the forest, and it offers a secure, comfortable stay with modern luxuries like a hot morning shower and a good meal.

We were a group of 19, and our stay at Kiaan corbett made the trip memorable. The resort’s green, peaceful surroundings helped us feel connected to nature. Rooms had the basic amenities we needed and plenty of space, and the food was delicious, with different options served during our visit. There were activities for all ages, including volleyball at the pool, table tennis, snooker, and cricket for the kids. Staff also made an effort to arrange experiences for each group. For a very affordable price, the stay was well worth it.

There’s a nice range of things to do here, from outdoor games and swimming to the pool table and table tennis. The back rooms have a beautiful view, although they need a bit more maintenance. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, but could also use some upkeep. The staff were excellent, polite, and helpful, and the food was good and satisfying. Kiaan Corbett Resort is tucked a bit deep inside, but the peaceful feel makes it worthwhile. It’s not too large, so getting around doesn’t wear you out.

A big thank you to Mr. Pradeep (Waiter) for attentive, humble service at meals, and to Mr. Pramod (Manager), who handled everything with warmth and professionalism. The Sikh family who own the resort were cheerful, kind, and down-to-earth, and took personal care of things. The kids loved the clean, safe pool and its small section, while we relaxed nearby in the calm surroundings. Greenery, peaceful surroundings, and clean, spacious rooms gave our family the break we wanted. The food was fresh and tasty, and every meal felt homely but special. We came for a holiday and are leaving with lovely memories and a strong wish to return. Kiaan Corbett Resort offered comfort and a real sense of belonging.

I’d expected a comfortable, professional stay, but faced poor hygiene, neglect, and indifference instead. There was no front desk, and the staff I reached through other arrangements were unhelpful and sometimes downright rude. The room wasn’t clean, the bathroom was dirty, and a foul smell lingered throughout my stay. Housekeeping did nothing about it despite several complaints, and when I reported the room’s condition, I was dismissed without a proper solution. Basic needs weren’t met: there was no drinking water, and the air conditioning was unavailable. The fan wasn’t working either. Staff kept saying the voltage was low and there was no diesel for the DG, so in 40C heat I had to leave the room open to get outdoor air. The water tank was empty, and after too many requests staff finally checked it. I have photos showing the dirty floor and water being taken from a bottle because there was no water at the tap. Staff Himashu told me to check out if I had an issue, but said I wouldn’t get my money back. For the price charged, this service is outrageous. The experience has ruined my view of the hotel, and I won’t recommend it to anyone. I hope they take the feedback seriously and improve.
