The Orchard at Peora Estates

The setting feels tucked away, which is a plus for a quiet stay, though don’t expect lots of lively places nearby. The property itself is lovely, with a garden where you can pick and eat fruit, and it really feels like being close to nature. The architecture is easy on the eyes and even gave me the feeling of being in a foreign country. Staff were friendly, especially Chandan, who was thoughtful and attentive. The food was fantastic too.

The food was a real highlight at The Orchard at Peora Estate. We tried Italian, Mexican, Indian, momos, salads, and a smoky barbecue, and every dish was delicious. The local ingredients seemed top quality. We ate so much that we left a few pounds heavier, with no regrets. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and cozy, with crisp linens, large well-kept bathrooms, and private balconies looking over the valley. The interiors are beautiful. Outside, the garden and terrace face the Almora valley, with breathtaking views for sunrise or sunset. The estate has an elegant Italian design and feels both luxurious and warm. The staff were courteous, attentive, and eager to help. They went out of their way for our children and never said no to a request, big or small. We had an amazing family getaway and are already planning to come back.

I spent two nights at the orchard with my extended family, and we all had a wonderful time. The fruit-laden trees and location were lovely, and the food and service were great. Chandan was very helpful, while the chef spoiled us with a varied menu. It’s an awesome place for a big family or a group of friends.
