The beds were really comfortable and the flooring was good, so the stay was okay, but the customer service could’ve been much better. The TV didn’t work because its remote was broken, and the rooms are so close together that you hear other guests easily. Power cuts happened often, and the washroom exhaust fan wasn’t working.

We booked a month before our stay and were told early checkin was possible, but they rejected our request when we asked. Checkin was at 12, yet the room wasn’t cleaned when we arrived, and we waited another 1 and half hour for it. Inside, the floor was wet and smelled. There was no power and no backup, so we couldn’t charge our mobile for taking pictures during sight seeing. They also charged us for the welcome drinks, a coffee. The bathroom pipe clogged after our bath, and there were small flies on the floor. There was no lake view from the rooms, and the hotel is quite far away from Naini Lake. We’d suggest booking a room near the lake, otherwise you lose time travelling or sitting in traffic jam. Nobody cleaned the room on the second day. The complimentary water bottle, tea bags, coffee, and milk powder were provided on day 1 only, not each day. The tea bags weren’t covered, probably local tea, and the kettle was very dirty. I had to scrub it myself so we could boil water for our baby. The rooms were very small, and the drawers weren’t clean. There was no fan or AC. We checked out a night early because we had to leave at 7:30am. We’d told them we needed milk for our baby in the morning. At 7, we called and they said the person had gone to buy milk, but when we left there was nobody at reception. No Breakfast, no tea, no milk. This hotel is just earning money and not providing good service.

The receptionist was friendly and helpful, but breakfast was kind of sub - standard. They only clean the room or change the sheets when asked, not regularly. The basic rooms cost nearly 3500/- per day, possibly because it’s peak tourist season and demand is high. The lake is nearly 1.5 kms away, and getting there and back is difficult and expensive. We were willing to walk, though it felt more like a hike because the terrain is so steep.

There’s barely anything in the room besides a bed and 2 chairs, so it doesn’t feel like being in a hotel. The shower in the washroom runs so slowly that bathing takes hours... :P The intercom didn’t work at first, and when it started working later, nobody answered our calls. Parking was the worst. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you have some emergency.

For the price it’s okay, and it’s very close to High court. The rooms and linen are good quality, but this is just flats converted into hotel rooms and shouldn’t be called a hotel. Room service was pathetic, and don’t expect even drinking water. It’s okay for just a night stay.
