Yecha House - Mountain & Lake View Retreat, Bhimtal

The staff were attentive and always around to make sure we had what we needed, and the fresh food really tasted different. Breakfast could be customized and was served with care. Service was a little slow at times, though. We stayed at Yecha House to celebrate our one-year-old's birthday, and it was a lovely experience overall. The property has a warm, welcoming feel that's great for a family gathering. Thank you Indrani, Khwaja and the whole team for the hospitality and service. I'd definitely recommend Yecha House for family celebrations and events.

The lounge is a lovely extra. You can settle in with books, unwind, or just sit and look at the mountains. I was searching for mountain views when Yecha House caught my eye, and every room category has a beautiful view of the mountains and lake. Both Deluxe and Super Deluxe rooms are lovely, very clean, and come with all the services you'd expect. The whole team made me feel at home. Thanks to managers Kiran and Indrani, Shekhar, Kamalesh, Khajan, and the chef for making the stay so comfortable. The service was excellent, and the staff felt like family. I really miss being there. Yecha House has a part of my heart ❤️ Until we meet again, because it'll be my go-to when I'm there!

The lounge is lovely, with books and board games, and the property feels thoughtfully laid out and planned. The hotel is expanding and plans to add an outdoor dining area. Rooms are well appointed, and the staff are accommodating and helpful, doing their best to handle requests. The chef is excellent and the food was very good. We ordered dinner a few hours ahead each time, and even though the hotel wasn't full, they made excellent food and homestyle dishes. We had three days of amazing dinners: pahadi mutton, dal, hot rotis, and lovely chicken and egg curries. Order ahead so they can get provisions. Dining is only in the dining room, which is a great way to stop people ruining the rooms.

I'd happily stay here again with my family. It would be even better if the property welcomed pets, but we had a wonderful experience overall. The balcony view is absolutely stunning, and the food is quite good. Staff and service were commendable, and the attention to detail in the design and construction was truly impressive.
