Fabhotel Prime Majhali

The room was dirty and poorly prepared, despite being an upgrade from the one we had booked. The bedsheets, blanket, and pillow cover were unclean, and there was no set-top box for the TV. A used bottle of water had been left by the bedside, and used sachets hadn't been cleared away. No one answered when we called 9 for housekeeping or room service, and the reception number had no network. We waited over an hour for a menu, and I only got it after going to reception myself. They seemed more focused on restaurant customers than guests staying there. The service was very bad. I won't choose this hotel again or recommend it. The whole experience was pathetic.

Majhalli restaurant has both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, and the prices are very reasonable. The nearby Curry Leaves hotel, which has the same owner, is strictly vegetarian. The people here are helpful, and it's a good place for relatives of patients staying at Ashok hospital.

The staff were courteous and helpful, and even arranged breakfast much earlier than the usual 8 pm breakfast time. It's a good property, though it could use better maintenance. We booked two deluxe rooms for three people, but one was a small room about half the size of the other. We arrived late at night and left early the next morning, so we were too tired to make an issue of it then. Still, the charge should have been adjusted.

The room itself was good. Food was average, and they wouldn't serve morning tea or coffee before around 7:30 or 8, even if you ordered it.
