After we paid in advance, they told us there were no rooms available. Why confirm the booking if that was the case? We were left stranded in the middle of nowhere at midnight, after being so excited about the trip. Then things got worse. We had paid for an AC room but were given a non-AC one, with staff saying they couldn’t properly see the booking. The hotel and staff were terrible, and this was the worst stay I’ve ever had. I don’t think I’ll book through this website again, and I’ll tell people around me not to use it either.

There’s no restaurant, only food service to the room. The room also felt small for three adults, even though we booked for three. The staff need proper training. I was unhappy to get a call asking me to check out at 11 am when Agoda listed checkout as before 12:00. A small difference might be understandable, but arguing about it wasn’t. I finally checked out at 12 after pointing out the written time. That kind of behaviour doesn’t make guests feel welcome.

The staff were attentive and helpful, and the location made it easy to get around. My room was comfortable and quite nice, so I had a great stay at Hotel City Palace. I’d consider coming back! 😊✨👍

The rooms are budget-friendly, and the property is in a prime area. Food quality and service are excellent. Room cleaning and maintenance still need some minor work, but fixing those could make this an excellent property.

Dinner ordered through room service tasted nice, and the rooms were neat and clean. It’s a nice place to stay, right in the heart of the city and just 5 min from the central bus stand. I was satisfied and would definitely recommend it.
