Hotel De Rajnigandha

We were travelling with family and an 11-month-old baby, and being put in a Dominator Room instead of the Family Studio we had booked caused a lot of stress. They said they had given our room to another guest because we hadn't arrived by 6 PM, even though I'd called beforehand to say we'd get there around 6-7 PM. We arrived at 8 PM. At first, staff claimed there was no booking and didn't properly check their system. Another guest reportedly had the same problem that day, which points to poor management and unprofessional behavior. A confirmed booking shouldn't be handed to someone else without the customer's consent. This was the worst hotel experience of my life, and I strongly don't recommend it to families or anyone expecting basic professionalism.

At the counter, while I was disputing the booking, I saw two or three other people complain about hair on the bed, a dirty room, and having to fight for water. I was relieved I didn't end up staying there. We arrived at 10:30 PM with my family, about 10 people, for a booking I'd made on Booking.com for December 25. The hotel denied it, apparently hadn't noticed the online reservation, and had given the rooms to someone else. The place seemed extremely shady and unprofessional. Do not book this hotel.

Good service, and the room was clean with nice decor 👌

Good value for the money. It's been renovated recently and is very easy to get around from. The railway station is close, Mukti dham is within walking distance, and access is easy.
