Hotel Panchavati Yatri

The Gujarati thali was filling and reasonably priced, though it cost a little more than the Maharashtrian option, which was around ₹320+ taxes. We had lunch at panchvati, a well known in Nasik, and tried the vegetarian thali. It came with a starter drink like jaljeera, dal and curry, rice with roti or puri, vegetable sides, snacks such as dhokla, and a sweet like puran poli or basundi. The Maharashtrian version was a simpler, spicier local choice, while the Gujarati one included things like kadhi, masala rice, puris, dhokla, rotis, and dessert. Prices can vary. A thali is a traditional full meal with several small dishes, and this was a wholesome way to try local vegetarian flavors.

We had a good stay with my family, and the restaurant food was really good. The service was wonderful, and we enjoyed our meals. We did have an extra person, so the charges were higher, but they also charged us for the driver's stay without telling us beforehand. Everything else was good.

The tourist spots nearby, including Sita gupha and kalaram mandir, made the location convenient. Our room was clean and room service came quickly. There was only one towel in the room, though they brought another when we asked. We also had to request the dental kit, and what they supplied as a kit was only toothpaste. Apart from that, things were good.

Our family of four spent three days here in a family room. It was spacious and clean, and the hotel has a fairly large parking area of its own. The washroom was the one drawback, since it was very small. Still, it was a nice stay.
