Hotel Saffronn

The room and facilities were in poor shape: old, badly maintained lifts, dirty rooms, no AC, leaking taps, no proper ventilation, no towels, and a broken intercom. As we were leaving, the receptionist rudely demanded 20₹. We arrived in Nashik last week after traveling overnight from Aurangabad, reaching Hotel Saffron around 1:00-1:30 a.m. Check-in went smoothly, and around ₹1200 for 24 hours seemed reasonable for two people. The first night was fine. The trouble began the next day when we went out for a temple visit. In the morning, we asked the receptionist for drinking water since none had been provided in the room. He handed us bottles without saying they were chargeable, so we assumed they were included and took them with us. Later, an older receptionist was on duty. When I mentioned that we hadn't received water the previous night, he snapped that it was chargeable and not free. His tone was rude and unnecessary. Then the lift got stuck between floors on our way to the second floor. The same receptionist forced the doors open, and it started moving again, but wouldn't go back down once we reached our floor. A few minutes later, he called from reception to say we hadn't closed the lift door properly. I went back and tried two or three times, maybe more, but it still wouldn't work. He shouted from downstairs that we didn't know how to use a lift and were spoiling it, speaking very disrespectfully. What started smoothly ended badly because of his behavior and the poor maintenance. I can't recommend this place. Do not book Hotel Saffronn ❌❌❌❌❌❌

The room quality was poor, and the way we were treated wasn't good either. This wasn't worth ₹200.

The staff member wouldn't let us speak to him or get any explanation, and he shouted at us instead of politely asking us to leave even once. When we asked for feedback, he claimed the hotel had no feedback system. But after we asked another front desk staff member, they showed us a feedback form. This was the worst hotel experience I've had. Really sad.

The front desk team were very good and responded well.
