Comfortable Stays at Navi Mumbai

Don't go here. I booked through Booking.com based on a 7.2 rating, though I'd give it zero or less. This isn't a hotel like the name suggests, just a low-grade room in a noisy neighborhood. They took the full payment upfront, which should have warned me. There's no car parking or kitchen. Breakfast was included, but they bring it from a restaurant about 1.5 km away, and I didn't get breakfast on any day. The room was small and smelled of mold or fungus. There was loose wiring, the washbasin tap had been shut off underneath, and the toilet was tiny with a low sloping ceiling that made it hard to stand. Torn leather on the bed board was hidden behind a pile of pillows, the bedside table drawers were broken, and an electrical panel had come out of the wall. WiFi didn't work. There were no water bottles or toiletries; after asking, they gave me two soap cakes. The linen was dirty, so I had to buy bedsheets. The lift made dangerously loud noises, so I used the stairs after one ride. That's when I noticed the fire extinguishers were dysfunctional, rusty, and unusable. Staff were rude. I told them I wanted to check out at 8:00 AM, but reception said they'd WhatsApp me the invoice. A full 24 hours later, I still hadn't received one, and they gave me no bill at checkout.

The photos online are completely misleading, and I don't think this poorly managed place is worth the money. Our first room was spacious and had a good view, but was badly maintained: paint was peeling off the ceiling and had fallen across the floor, the washroom was dirty, there was a leak on the bed, and the AC had been patched with cellotape. When we asked for a clean or different room, staff said none were available. We only got moved after complaining to Goibibo, and the replacement was worse, with paint stains, dust, dirty sheets with loose threads, and dirt under the bed. We even found condom packets there. Staff insisted the room had been cleaned and the bedsheet was new, but that clearly wasn't true. After we complained again, there was no refund or proper resolution.

The view was the one good thing. I paid before seeing the room, and if I had seen it first, I never would have stayed. I booked three days after seeing the good photos on Booking, but that was a big mistake. The outside of the building looked great, as did the lobby and lift area. Parking was only outside the main entrance. Inside, though, the room was awful: the bedsheet, bathroom, floor, and balcony were all dirty, and the wall paint was peeling. It was in terrible condition.

The staff were disrespectful and the place felt unsafe. I booked two nights but left before even three hours had passed because the room smelled like a disgusting toilet and had yellow stains everywhere. Breakfast was included, but they forgot to give it to me. When I complained, they handed over a polybag with something bought from a nearby shop. The following day I got no breakfast at all. I have photos to support what I'm saying. This place felt like a complete rip-off, with misleading information and rude staff.
