Ramada by Wyndham Navi Mumbai

The accommodations gave our guests a comfortable place to retreat during the wedding celebration. The event itself felt special, with the decor and lighting handled beautifully. Staff were attentive and professional throughout, and everything was coordinated smoothly. The elegant setting made the occasion memorable, and we appreciated the care that went into it.

The food was the one clear bright spot, and the staff were friendly and respectful. Special thanks to Payal. The hotel is out on the edge of the city, with little nearby to see, though taxis can take you into town. This was my second visit, and the condition of the property still needs a lot of work. The hot water stopped working after check-in, was fixed by a technician, then failed again the next day. I didn't bother reporting it the second time. Dust had collected on the side table, inside the lamp and on the TV panel. The body wash was empty when I arrived, and nobody had refilled or checked it. The weighing machine was out of use, and I wondered whether anyone checks it. The mini fridge was broken and wouldn't shut, so things inside were usually warm. The TV felt very dated and ran on local cable, with hardly any channels working. I recently stayed at a two-star hotel with just 15 rooms that had a modern LG smart TV with free OTT and YouTube, so this was disappointing.

The breakfast staff were attentive and the live counters were excellent, though the water service needs work. A visible self-serve station would help, or staff could check whether tables have water. Room dining was good, as was most of the food, but the burger was below par. Internet speed was weak, though just about usable. The exterior looks a little unpolished, but inside I found a clean, comfortable room with the essentials: a safe, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee, TV, and a desk. The place shows some age, but it didn't affect comfort. Service was strong, with only a small hiccup or two. The wardrobes are dated and noisy. The TV offered mostly free news channels and very little entertainment. I had a Hotel Technician look at it, but after several attempts it was clear those were the only channels available. It’s a solid value for money hotel with good service and a few things to improve. Dhananjay's tea/paan stall is right opposite the entrance, and the garlic tea is worth a try. There are two gates: one for service, and the usual guest entrance is the main gate (#1).

We spent 5 nights at Ramada, Navi Mumbai and had a great stay. The staff were courteous, room service was prompt, and our room was spacious. We also really liked the food. The location works well if you're visiting Navi Mumbai for work.
