The only thing that worked well for us was parking, which was available for two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers. Otherwise, the stay didn't match the ₹2,500 nightly price, since there are better places with better service and facilities. When the power went out after check-in, staff took about 10 minutes to start the generator. At midnight, we asked for a bottle of water but were told cold water wasn't available because the restaurant was closed. The bathroom was poorly maintained, with no bucket or tissue paper, and the toilet facilities weren't properly set up. My experience at Hotel Shubham Comforts was disappointing.

The mosquitoes were everywhere, and we couldn't figure out where they came from since we never left the doors or windows open. The AC would switch on but didn't work, and there was no AC remote or hot water. We also couldn't properly ask for an extra bed. Service staff acted as if we still owed them money. I've had better facilities and service at cheaper hotels in Kerala. One of my worst hotel experiences.

I've stayed at Subham three times now and enjoyed my stays. If you're looking for a hotel, this is a very good one near Kalyan Phata Circle.
