SPOT ON 41643 Karthik International

We stayed in room 303 at Karthik International Lodge for two days, from 13/11/2022 to 15/I1/2022, after booking through the OYO app. The whole lodge was dirty across all three floors, with poor room maintenance and no hygiene or clean rooms. Ants and cockroaches were everywhere, and the room had an abnormal odor. There was no hot water in the washroom; when we asked, they brought half a bucket from somewhere else. I’m surprised OYO verified and selected this lodge. If you want good hospitality, I strongly recommend you don’t book here. These rooms are only suitable for storing luggage.

I couldn’t stay even five minutes because there were cockroaches and bed bugs everywhere. The dark white bedsheets looked nothing like pure white, despite what the room boy said when I asked. The hotel felt like a hospital. I don’t understand the good reviews. This was a waste of money, not an international hotel, just a cheap lodge. OYO should remove places like this.

The one decent thing is the hotel’s proximity to the bus stand. The rooms were poorly maintained, staff were careless, and there was no water in the room. Although they accept OYO bookings, they wouldn’t accept OYO online payment and charged more than the OYO payment amount.

The rooms were poorly maintained, with no cleaning, hot water, or proper sanitation. There were mosquitoes and cockroaches, and the washrooms weren’t fit to use. Staff gave negligent, rude answers, and I had a very bad experience. The actual tariff was 1100, but they collected 1200. I’d tell people to keep their money and look at nearby hotels instead. This was so bad I’d give it a "0" rating.
