Our stay was comfortable and pleasant, with clean, spacious rooms. We paid Rs 2100 per night for an AC suite, which was very affordable. The Acharya couple and their staff manage the guest house very well. It's close to mahalasa Narayani temple, and the Mahalasa temple canteen serves clean, hygienic satvic food at nominal rates.
The dorm mattress was soft, and the place was clean and disciplined. My dorm stay was good and affordable. It's near mahalasa temple, with mangeshi temple also within walking distance. I'd recommend it to devotees and respectful travelers.
The owner was cooperative and helpful, and made us feel comfortable. Our room was clean and well maintained, and the service was very good. Prices were affordable for the value. We had a great experience and would recommend it.
The owner at reception showed us to our clean non-AC room, and the building has a lift. We booked in November. The fan wasn't working properly, though, and when I mentioned it, she gave what seemed like a lame explanation that the fans and ACs are controlled from the mains and adjust automatically based on the temperature. There's a solar water heater, but we didn't have hot water in the morning.
The rooms are named after goddesses, and this is a good place to stay near the temple. Families can feel safe here. They don't allow drinking or smoking in the hotel, which I really appreciated. The staff may come across as rude, but trust me, they aren't. I think it's just their age showing.
