Seeing Leitao ( pigling ) Cabidela and Pigling Roast on the menu caught my eye. I'd gone years without eating leitao ( pigling ), so when I saw the menu alert on Facebook, I reserved a potion each. My girlfriend couldn't come along, but I brought home a doggy bag parcel for her 😄 🤣 At Martin's Courtyard, Taleigao, Goa, I got to taste ethnic goan traditional food that felt like it took me to another world. The food exceeded my expectations, the service was impeccable, and the ambience was perfect. The cottages are tucked peacefully among greenery but still close to all the tourist attractions in Panaji. It's a calm, clean property and good value for money for a family or a couple. I'd definitely recommend Martin's Courtyard for an enjoyable stay with family.

Joe Martin is a gracious host, and the staff are wonderful. They greet you with a smile and help with whatever you need. The cottages sit peacefully among greenery while remaining close to Panaji's tourist attractions. I'd recommend Martin's Courtyard for an enjoyable stay with family and friends.

Even though ours was the only table there that evening, the staff weren't very attentive. The food was average at best and didn't justify the price. Dishes averaged Rs 500, even for something as simple as a fried chicken breast.

The fish roe and crabs were good, and the pork roast and prawns were fine. The soup had too much pepper. I wasn't pleased with the fish fingers, since most pieces were just rava-fried fish skin.
