The accommodation options are very classy, and the place is a great spot in Goa to chill by the pool for a day, at 500 a head. I loved the scenic views and the peace away from the hustle bustle. It’s a top place to catch a beautiful sunset.

The staff were so polite and down to earth, always ready to help. We were staying in a continental hotel, but the chef still prepared special India food for us. Hats off to the chef. I didn’t expect an experience like this on my second visit to Goa. The hotel sits on a mountain, so the road up is part of the deal. The room was relaxing, ambient and inspired by nature. Even in summer, the high terrain and natural surroundings kept the heat from feeling too strong, which was soothing. The ambiance is simply awesome. If you want a different experience away from the chaos, this is a great place to bring the family together. I’ll definitely visit again when I’m in Goa.

The team, especially Udai, took care of everything we needed, and the food was excellent. The chef also accommodated some special requests. I booked an ayurvedic massage in advance and wasn’t disappointed. It was actually one of the best treatments I’ve experienced, and I’d recommend it as a must if you stay at the property. We had a fantastic stay at the Nilaya. It was a welcome sanctuary of calm and tranquility, with friendly staff and unique rooms that have air con. A memorable Goan experience.

I’m posting this on the first morning of our four-night booking, and it’s also my 40th birthday. I’ve had a pathetic breakfast. They won’t refund any of my money, so I can’t check out and put myself somewhere with a better kitchen and more professional service. I definitely wouldn’t book here again. This is hard for me to write because I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but it’s been an awful place to stay. The location is beautiful, but the food is poor, no better than what you’d find at any of the beach front shacks. My room looks out over the car park, and its balcony is directly above the workers toilets. The internal phones don’t work, so you have to run to the front desk whenever you need something. We asked to see other rooms, but the ones shown to us smelled damp and weren’t maintained.
