Barli lynnong mam wasss had such a lovely way of treating people. I really liked her. The rest of my stay at Hotel Summit was just as welcoming, with professional staff ready to help from the moment I arrived. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well kept, with comfortable beds and modern amenities. The food was delicious, with a nice variety and good presentation, and room service was quick. The hotel is well placed for nearby attractions and essentials, yet it felt calm inside. It definitely earns its 5-star rating for comfort and hospitality.

The rooms are spacious and have balconies, but after four days here, the service and upkeep were the biggest problems. The key cards were especially inconvenient: whenever we came back after locking the room, reception had to reactivate them. Nearly every time I went there, guests seemed to be reporting some kind of issue. Each day brought another problem. The washroom tap didn't work on day one, there was no water in the morning on day two, Wi-Fi was down on day three, and on day four we were trapped in the lift for nearly half an hour. I wouldn't recommend this resort to couples or families. For a group of male friends who only need somewhere to sleep, it may be acceptable. The rooms have space, but service and maintenance need a lot of work. Be cautious before booking.

Sajana was a great help at the excursions desk and arranged all the trips we wanted. Staff across reception, dining, and housekeeping were understanding and helpful, often offering assistance before we asked. Most spoke good English. We booked AI, and the kitchen even prepared different food to suit our tastes and order. The food was very good, as were the clean, spacious room, the showers, and room service. All round, a very good experience.

We were exhausted by the room moves, especially since we had an infant with us and had asked for a bed. They charged 1000-1500 rupees per night for one, which felt unacceptable. After cockroaches were found, we were moved to another room on the second floor, and another part of our family had to move too. We were very tired of all the disruption. The replacement room wasn't comfortable either. Noise from the restaurant downstairs kept reaching us, especially after 10-11 p.m. when we were trying to get the baby to sleep, and again around 9 in the morning. Our room was next to the storage room, so we could hear noise from there as well. There were cockroaches in the restaurant, where we saw at least one, and in at least two rooms. The service team knew about them. One evening I returned to find six in different shelves. With a baby, this was unacceptable. I hope management understands the problem and that we need some compensation. Please take steps so the next guests don't have to deal with the same issues.
