Terra Rosa is a wonderful place to slow down. We spent time by the new pool, read books from the collection, and played board games. The staff were warm and quick to help, and the homemade food was delicious. We could even customize the menu, which made meals feel personal. More local dishes would make the menu even better. The villa has a special old-world feel, with artwork and furniture preserved from over 100 years ago. Portuguese furniture in the rooms adds to the character, while the large bathrooms with luxurious tubs bring modern comfort. The decor, thoughtful details, and kind staff made it feel like a perfect retreat and very much like home. A 10/10 experience for us, where time seems to slow down.

A quiet little homestay away from the usual tourist crowds. The vintage decor, antique furniture, and curios are spread throughout the house, and there's a pool out back with some space to lounge.

The homely atmosphere, food, and hospitality make Terra Rosa a pleasant place to rest after a tiring journey. Stay a day or two and you'll leave feeling happy and ready to plan another trip to Goa. The island is beautiful and worth exploring. It's on Chodan or Chorao island, commonly known as Chorao, near Madel ferry, in a place also called pandaw vado. There's a church and children's park close by, and Salim Ali bird sanctuary is a little farther away. The house itself is very large and traditional, almost palace-like, with mangalorian roof tiles. It has been given a modern touch and converted into a three star hotel.

You'll need a car to get around, but the property is well kept and thoughtfully arranged. Namdev, the caretaker, is attentive, and homely food can be arranged with advance notice.

Monika was an amazing host. Terra Rosa is a pleasant, quiet place to spend time with friends or family, with a private pool and lawn. We had a wonderful stay.
