Alka Premiere

The location was good, and the person who showed me to the room was helpful. My stay itself wasn't great. I booked an executive room through make my trip, but got a small room that looked nothing like the Make my trip photos. The pictures were deceiving, the hotel's current condition hadn't been updated, and everything looked old and poorly maintained. The receptionist wasn't helpful. At around 10 o clock one night, I was left waiting outside the hotel for 20 min. The door was shut, the night receptionist had gone out, and there was no backup person to let me in or answer my calls. The toilet was dirty, with a broken seat cover, and I had to ask staff to clean it before I could use it. The facilities were poor for the charge.

I hesitated to book after reading the negative reviews, but once I stayed there I felt the hotel was quite a bit better than its current rating. The location is great, and the room was a good size for the price, with routine facilities like a Smart TV, Kettle, toiletry and complentry Tea /Coffee kit. There's no in house resturent, but they can arrange a meal. The staff were quite helpful. I'd give it 4.

I've stayed here a couple of times. The location is awesome, though the condition is bad. In one room the boiler wasn't clean, and while the beds were well made, they weren't hygienically clean. The AC makes a lot of noise. Warm water also takes ages, about 3-4 minutes to come from the tap.

The location is superb, and for the rent it's value for money. The room and cleanliness were okay. Don't go by the old reviews, this hotel is far better than its reviews make it sound. I'd recommend it for a budget stay.
