The Oberoi, New Delhi

The hotel and room were lovely, with no complaints there, but the concierge service was disappointing. I contacted them two days before our stay and heard back only a few hours before we arrived. There was a lot of miscommunication, and arranging transportation took unnecessary back-and-forth, followed by incorrect advice about the airport transfer timing. I found that unprofessional. They tried to make up for the frustration by arranging a nice setup for a special occasion, but by then I wasn’t interested in anything they offered. We also booked a spa appointment, and the concierge said it was all set. When we arrived, the spa hadn’t been informed and there was no booking, so we had to start over. The treatment was unacceptable for what we paid at The Oberoi New Delhi. The Oberoi Mumbai, on the other hand, had exceptional concierge service.

I attended a four-hour symposium at The Oberoi Hotel on 11th January, 2026. Emcure (cure and beyond) held its International Symposium on Semaglutide in Obesity and CVD in the ballroom. Coffee, cappuccino and tea were served during the session, followed by a range of starters, main dishes and desserts, all good in taste. It was a great experience to attend such a knowledgeable symposium in a luxurious hotel. I was taken with the lavish, well-maintained interior, and the ambience was good. There were many foreign tourists there. I hope to stay overnight sometime, as the hotel seemed calm, luxurious and elegant.

The rooms are awesome, the service is marvelous and beyond imagination, and the interiors and cleanliness are a wow. They work incredibly hard and treat customers like gods, trying to make every stay memorable. Truly amazing hospitality. I’m loving it. Must visit, must recommend.

We stayed for 10 days and my wife and I really enjoyed the room service, restaurant and hospitality. Chef Ashish was so good at making custom food for us at breakfast. He asked about my favourites, Appam and Goat leg paaya, ordered the ingredients specially, then surprised me with a childhood favourite for breakfast on our last day. I’ll come back with my family.
