The naturalist-led jeep rides and sunset moments were two of our favorite parts. We also loved the morning boat trip across the calm lake, and the heated pool was a relaxing place to unwind. The tents have lovely views over the lake and grasslands, and the food was so good that I can’t recommend the meals enough. Friendly, helpful staff made everything feel easy. We stayed two nights and three days, and the quiet, scenic setting felt far removed from crowds and stress. One of the best experiences we’ve had.

We’re still in the room and loving it. It’s a tent on a dam, which makes this one of the most unique places I’ve stayed. The design and finishes feel luxurious, and I love the interior and lighting. The photos don’t really show what the place is like. The food and salads are incredibly fresh too. I can’t say enough good things about Raas.

The food was excellent every time, and the service felt warm and attentive. It’s a comfortable place to stay, tucked away among forest and a peaceful body of water. A lovely retreat if you’re after comfort and some quiet time in nature.

The pool area is excellent, and the service was consistently attentive, personal, and friendly. The rooms are great too, although getting to the restaurant can mean a bit of a walk. It’s a peaceful place with wonderful views.

Such a pretty, calm, peaceful place. It’s even more beautiful in person than it looks online. Photos and videos just can’t capture it. A place worth visiting.
