The location is great, right on Mall Road, and our room had lovely valley views. Staff were helpful and polite. The rooms were decent, though maintenance could be better. Handy for a short stay if you want easy access to Shimla's main attractions.

The location is the only good thing, and there are plenty of other choices near Mall Road. The place is way overpriced for the service. It was also really difficult to reach with luggage, and they wouldn't even help leave it on the ground floor at checkout. The TV didn't work, and the toilets leaked and smelled bad. Worst of all was the front desk behaviour. The staff were rude, especially Ms NIRMALA, who kept replying, “That's just how things are here,” and didn't want to listen to customers. Avoid this property if you're hoping for a relaxing holiday.

It's next to the LIFT, close to all the action and food, and the rooms had excellent views for a reasonable price. Everything went smoothly and the rooms were clean. The staff were helpful, attentive, and quick to respond, especially GM Mr Roshan and FOM Mr Thakur, as well as Ms Kajul. Thanks to everyone at the hotel for making our stay enjoyable and seamless. I'll return and strongly recommend it to friends and family.

Getting our luggage to the room on the 5th floor was a hassle because there was no bell boy. I had to hire a coolie to carry it from the parking area and paid him 250 rs. Hot water was only available for a couple of hours in the morning, not through the day. The curtains were poor quality, and one window in my room wouldn't lock from inside. In the morning there were no towels. We asked for two fresh ones since we'd used the towels in the room on the first day, but the receptionist said the next towels wouldn't be provided until after 1 pm. I've never had a hotel refuse to give towels, especially when most rooms on our floor were empty. At check-in they told us checkout was at 12 noon, but then asked us to leave at 11:30 am. It wasn't a problem in the end because my wife wanted to change hotels as soon as possible. She thought this one was haunted.
