Capital O 14451 The residency

At check-in, the staff asked for an extra 300 rupees, even though I'd already paid online through OYO. Since I arrived at night, I felt I had no choice but to pay. OYO support didn't help either. The CSR promised to call back in two minutes, but didn't call until 2-3 hours later, by which time I'd paid. Neither OYO nor the hotel refunded the extra money. I had a terrible experience and wouldn't recommend booking here, or using OYO for hotel reservations.

Even after paying the full amount through Agoda, I paid another Rs 1000 for the room and the owner still refused to give it to me. He said the hotel wasn't listed on any apps. Customer care was pointless too. I had to call 3-4 times and repeat the same problem.

I ended up staying four days because I'd paid already, and changed rooms twice. Every floor and room seems to have a different problem. On the second floor there were pigeon droppings all over the front and back. There are too many insects, and the bathroom is really dirty with no exhaust. The place smells bad and is unhygienic, with poor management and no working AC. Every day they said a service person was fixing it, but it never got resolved. We had to call every hour to turn the AC on. They insisted it was on low, but when I checked the switch it was always off. Don't come here.

The room looked beautiful, but the bedspread hadn't been washed and the bed was covered in hair, like a salon. We had booked two nights with no other choice, but left after half a day. The staff were horrible and extremely rude. The B@@/rd gaurd even asked whether 02:30 was the time to come to the room. What a relief to leave. Mind it, the 5-star reviews you see are all fake.
