Hotel Mohan Noida

There were reports from people staying there as PG tenants about regular disruptions too. During my own stay, there was no water, no power backup, and no ventilation. The ceiling fans didn’t work, the lights kept flickering, and the toilet was in terrible shape with broken taps. The rooms were extremely dirty and unhygienic, and the staff were pathetic and wouldn’t listen. Don’t be taken in by the pictures on GoIbibo or Oyo. This was the worst stay and service, not worth a single star.

At checkout, the receptionist asks to use your phone and gives the hotel a five-star rating. That’s how people get fooled. My first room was filthy, with garbage by the door, so I had to ask to move. In the room I stayed in, the pillow covers were dirty too. It took more than an hour and five calls for staff to change them, and I had to wait the whole time. The washroom was just as dirty as the Google reviews suggested. The shower was broken and unusable, and there was no exhaust fan. The toilet was heavily stained with gutka and paan, and its seat cover was loose, unscrewed, and just resting on the seat.

The staff were good, and for me the lack of an in-house restaurant was actually a plus. There are loads of restaurants nearby, and food delivery apps serve the hotel. I wouldn’t order the complimentary veg breakfast, since ordering through an app costs much less. Just note that they don’t take cards, so you’ll need cash or Paytm. My stay was okay for two days, but I wouldn’t want to stay a week. The hotel is conveniently placed within walking distance of Sector 57 road, and you can catch autos from metro stations such as Sector 15. The rooms are decent, but the washrooms are very basic. In my room there was no AC on-off switch, so you may have to unplug it when leaving. There were no charging points by the bed, meaning I had to leave my phone far away to charge. The washroom basin didn’t work until staff fixed it after a few calls, and although a geyser was installed, it had no pipeline connected. I also saw some rodents around the commode in the early hours.

The one nice thing was that the staff let us stay an hour past checkout. The room itself was spacious but old, and the washroom wasn’t clean enough. The toiletries were very basic. Breakfast took three calls and over an hour to arrive, and they brought only part of what we’d ordered. A staff member said he’d bring the rest, but never came back.
