The room was clean and well kept, and I was especially happy with the hotel’s hygiene. The food was fresh, tasty, and prepared well. Staff were friendly, polite, and quick to help, which made the stay comfortable. I’d happily come back.

The location is great, and the reception team responded on time during most of my three days there. Early mornings were a different story, even when something urgent came up. My first day was rough: the beds were so untidy I wanted to leave, but they wouldn’t let me cancel. Their no-refund policy is intimidating, and I was quite upset.
We paid almost ₹7,000 for two nights, or ₹3,500 a night, and the stay felt worse than a 2-star hotel. For that rate, a much better 3-star place should be easy to find. Maybe the toilet paper was a plus, since there weren’t tissues, but that’s about all I can think of. The room itself was dirty. There was dust on the side tables and tea area, the fridge was grimy, and the balcony looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The bucket had old, stagnant water and small insects in it. The shower didn’t work, nor did the hot water tap. The sheets and pillowcases were dirty, and the replacements we asked for were unclean too. The pillowcases felt worse than train ones. We asked for towels 3-4 times before getting them, and after requesting housekeeping 4-5 times, nobody came. We ended up sleeping in an unclean room with unclean sheets. I don’t understand charging this much when basic amenities aren’t provided. At ₹1,000-1,500 a night, maybe it would make sense, but this was unacceptable.
We paid 10 k for two rooms, but dinner wasn’t available when we checked in that evening because there was no chef. Breakfast had just two choices, allo paratha and pasta. In room 204, the bathroom was dirty with gutka spit, the pillow was tremendously dirty, and the telephone in 206 was dead. The staff looked like construction workers in very dirty clothes, and they made our food. Their clothes were kept at reception. Even the decorative reception items were literally rotten. I’m adding photos. Shivam at reception was way too arrogant and spoke to us in a humiliating way. He made one of our friends carry a glass from the kitchen to their room, saying the hotel was short-staffed. I ask the owner to remove the arrogant and useless staff, especially Shivam.
I cancelled one day ahead because of unavoidable circumstances, after paying the full amount in advance, but the property kept all of it. They said they couldn’t refund an on-counter booking, though they could have refunded me if I’d booked through their website. That felt misleading and unfair. I’ve never come across another hotel that refused a refund even with a day’s notice. The hospitality was extremely disappointing, and the staff were rude and unprofessional.
