There are private rooms and rooms shared by two or three people, with only basic facilities. In a three-person room, the beds are one double and one single; the two-person room has a double bed, with no separate single bed. The shared kitchen isn't kept tidy. This OYO Life place is okay.
The rooms are spacious and it's a good place to stay, but the old AC units use quite a lot of electricity. Running one for 14 hours a day will use about 30 units.
The food was tasteless, and even an omelette order took an hour to arrive. This was my experience after booking a room through OYO at Mascot. The rooms were dirty and the service poor, with lazy staff. I don't understand why OYO gives it a 4.5 rating. It doesn't deserve even one star. This is how they serve tea and breakfast to guests.
This budget property can be good value if you find a good deal. The rooms were clean, had the amenities OYO promised, and the service was good. The food I ordered was tasty and up to standard. You can order through Zomato, and Ola or Uber cabs are easy to get. Finding the place is another matter: it's tucked well inside Sector 51, away from the main road, and there isn't an OYO sign, so you may have to search by building number.
We booked this OYO for a New Year's party and had a really enjoyable time. The rooms were good, the staff were cooperative, and the service was nice. Good value for money.
