Spot on 9077 Golden Tree

The staff weren’t very cooperative, and there were mosquitoes in every corner of the rooms and washrooms. All the bedsheets were dirty, the washrooms hadn’t been cleaned, and the flush wasn’t working properly. The filthy smell in the rooms made us even more disappointed. Every room was extremely dirty. I request Oyo rooms service management to take action on these problems or cancel this hotel’s registration with Oyo. Thank you.

I was so dissatisfied that I eventually moved to another room to stay with my friends. The room I booked through Oyo wasn’t properly cleaned, and the beds were covered in hair. Rats were running around, so I had to sleep with the lights on. There were no room locks at first, and I could only get an old one after a day. Water and electricity weren’t maintained well either. Unhygienic, cheap service, and a very unsatisfactory stay. 🤯

I was in Noida for a conference and booked Spot On 9077 Golden Tree Sector 61 Noida through Oyo for a free stay. The manager, Virendra Kumar, first asked me to pay for early check-in. After I paid, he refused to give me a room because I’d booked using an Oyo offer. He wouldn’t let me check in unless I paid offline, so I paid 499 for a non AC room. Oyo helpline couldn’t resolve it when I called. The room was the worst I’ve seen, with damp walls and dirt everywhere. I asked for a lock for my laptop and luggage, and the manager said I could put a lock on my luggage. I was shocked that the room door had no lock. The English toilet had no seat, and there was no bucket, soap, or jug. When I asked to change rooms, the manager refused, so I left. The whole experience was terrible. Please don’t use the Oyo app if you’re travelling out of station. Use some other app to book a hotel.

I’m sharing this so other travellers, especially people on official visits with little time, can avoid the problems I had. It’s a third class hotel, as you can see in the images, and the service was zero. There’s no signboard, so it’s hard to find, and they don’t accept card payments. They also refused to give me an invoice, which makes it hard to get reimbursed for an official trip. My Booking.com confirmation said breakfast was included, but the hotel denied it. OYO said it couldn’t help because I’d booked through Booking.com, and Booking.com only replied after I checked out. The room was dirty and smelled bad, with spider webs and rats in an almirah. There’s no lock on the room door either. When I went out, I had to borrow a lock from reception, then return that same lock at night so they could use it on the main gate. I don’t recommend this hotel. I uninstalled Booking.com and won’t use it again. Make my trip handles issues much better. I never had these problems when booking through MMT.
