The price was comparatively affordable, and the rooms and washroom were clean. Staff were very helpful. All the temples and other visiting places are within a 10-15 minute walk.

The basics were manageable, but I found it expensive compared with Ujjain. The TV didn’t work, and there was no dustbin or other basic facilities.

People providing service were chatting very loudly at night, and there was no drinking water or water in the washroom. The room was filthy, the bed wasn’t clean, and the rooms hadn’t been cleaned. This hotel isn’t worth even one star. I suspect the four and five star reviews below are from people there. Even if you badly need a room, I still recommend not going here.

The staff were excellent and caring, though if you need something, you’ll have to remind them when you need it. The room felt stuffy and mobile reception was weak. NFC payments are available, but they seem reluctant to use them, so I’d carry only the cash you need. The nearest ATM is near Purana Bus Stand. Prices for things in Omkareshwar generally run high, as expected in a tourist place where business is the main source of income. Nearby ashrams don’t have lodging arrangements for single women, even if, like me, you’re just there for adventure and peace of mind. This hotel does have a room for a single woman, and I stayed here alone, but obviously you should stay very alert about your own safety at all times.
