Hotel Panchavati Palace

There’s no lift, so expect to use the stairs. If you have knee or back pain, or are travelling with an older person, this place may not work for you. There’s no food or tea available either, and the tariff feels high for the amenities and for a small place like Omkareshwar. The location is handy for walking to Omkareshwar and Mamleshwar temples and the Narbada ghat. Wi-Fi reaches the rooms. I stayed one day and night on 12/12/1025. The room and washroom were neat and clean; the towel was a bit old, while the bedsheets and other linen were OK.

The hotel is about 700 metres on foot from the main temple, with a number of food options around it. There’s no in-house restaurant. I saw a room, and it was nothing like the pictures. They don't accept foreigners, yet they took our money, let us come to the property, which is NOT in omkareshwar, then told us to find somewhere else and kept the money. Greedy and deceiving. Scammers. Saurabh Ji was the only person there who understood us, and his attitude gets five stars. The other staff aren't customer oriented. The rooms are good, but empathy matters too. If they understood that, it could be a hotel people would return to. Otherwise, you might only go once. You could also try staying at Gajanan Maharaj opposite. They offer offline booking at a very low price, an in-house bhojanaya, and a big campus to rejuvenate.

We booked online through mmt and got the best deal. The rooms were clean and cosy, and it was a very good hotel to stay in.

There’s no lift, though getting around without one was manageable. The staff were genuine, friendly, and helpful with suggestions, and the stay felt like good value for the money. The hotel is on the main road, easy to find, and about 500 meters from the temple. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the toilet was clean too. It had a geyser for 24-hour hot water. During power cuts, a generator provides backup electricity, but the AC and geyser don’t run then.
