We were left stranded in peak season after the owner refused to check us in, even though we'd paid in full for the Ooty villa through Agoda. They claimed they don't accept Agoda bookings, but the property was still listed there. The owner was rude, and there was no support. It seems low priced bookings may be cancelled to take higher paying guests. Very unethical and unprofessional, avoid it.

The Honeymoon suite at Grandis inn had a private balcony that was lovely for coffee in the morning or a quiet evening drink. The mountain views were stunning, and the room felt spacious and carefully designed, with plush bedding, high end toiletries, and a modern entertainment system. The staff were attentive and professional, always happy to help with a smile. I had a wonderful stay from start to finish. If you want comfort, luxury, and great hospitality, the best room at grandis inn is worth every penny.

I booked a month ahead and got a confirmation email, but when I reached Ooty and called for directions, the hotel told me they don't accept Agoda bookings, even though their name is still on Agoda. They asked me to contact them directly. I called offline, and they said rooms were available for 10k for two nights. We arrived within ten minutes, only to be told there'd been a misunderstanding, management had given the room to someone else, and nothing was available. Planning everything in advance and then having this happen on arrival was terrible. I won't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Don't book through MMT. I made a reservation, but the manager says the property hasn't been on MMT for the last two years. Yet I can see recent reviews there.
