Hotel Preethi Classic Towers

We booked directly with the sales team after first calling reception. Half the payment was made in advance, with the rest paid after check-in. I stayed for five nights in May 2026 in a classic suite. The staff were polite and helpful, and we had a very good stay. Breakfast was included and superb. There were three or four vegetarian choices, three South Indian and one North Indian, plus one egg preparation and the usual tea, juice, and bread. I didn't find a single bad item. The suite had a bedroom and a small drawing room with a dining table and sofa. They also gave us an extra folding bed for our daughter. For a family of three, the drawing room can fit a single bed for a child. Having hot water running 24 hours a day is especially useful in Ooty's weather. The location is fantastic, close to cherring cross and commercial road, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Commercial road has lots of food and shopping options. Moddys is in the same building, known for hot chocolate and chocolates, and now has snacks too. The only downsides were the lack of a real view from our room and heavy traffic on the road opposite. That may have been because May is a very busy season in ooty.

Cleanliness was a problem throughout, and the breakfast area didn't feel hygienic. The buffet wasn't up to standard either. The rooms weren't spacious, and there were only two clothes hangers. Apparently, using the gym requires a separate subscription.

The restaurant and its staff were superb, and the reception team were helpful and cordial. The rooms were spacious, neat, and clean. Hotel Preethi Classic Towers is in a convenient spot in Ooty city, on the Ooty-Coonoor Road. An excellent place to stay.

It's affordable and within the city limits, with good staff handling and service. The North Indian dishes were tasty, but the South Indian food wasn't okay. I suggest they improve the quality of the vegetarian food and add more South Indian dishes to the menu. Thank you.
