The forest setting means shops are a long drive away, so bring essential supplies with you. Alcohol is allowed, but the resort doesn't have party snacks, so you'll need to arrange those beforehand. Smoking is permitted outside the rooms. We appreciated having food served right outside our rooms as a group, and there was parking plus a play area. Airtel reception was good, which helped since there’s no intercom or Wi-Fi and you have to speak to staff in person. The toilets were usable but very basic, with a bucket and mug for bathing and cleanliness below star-level standards. The water heater only gave room-temperature water. Water supply was a major issue: they rely on government water and have no borewell or backup. There was no water in the toilet just after check-in, and it took nearly 45 minutes to arrive, which was inconvenient after a long journey. The location is excellent and easy to find on maps, though the approach roads are in poor shape, apparently a government issue rather than the resort's. Check-in was quick and smooth, and our room was reasonably clean. The restaurant was a bit disorganized. We had been shown a well-designed menu when booking, but staff on site weren't familiar with it, so each time we ordered we had to show it again. The promised dishes did arrive once we clarified, but the repeated waits were frustrating. Food was average, neither great nor disappointing. For the price, it felt a bit overpriced. If you're with friends and can relax, drink, and overlook small inconveniences, you may still enjoy it. Personally, I wouldn't recommend it for families or people particular about cleanliness and comfort. Better water availability, room facilities, kitchen taste, clearer restaurant SOPs, and basic party snacks would make it much better value. Hopefully management makes those improvements for future guests.
