Rose garden enclave for families

The tea plantation view from the property is lovely, and the lawn in front of the rooms was well kept and a nice place to sit. But the stay was difficult because of cleanliness and missing basics. There were no water bottles or toiletries in the room, and the bedroom and bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly. The bathroom had no light for a whole day and night. The hotel was fully booked, so we couldn't change rooms and had to manage in the dark. Parking also took some effort: it seemed to be a shared lot crowded with several buses, making it hard to maneuver and park our car, though we did manage eventually.

The electricity kept cutting out, with no backup and not even candles, and there was no Wi-Fi. This was a horrible experience, the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

The location was pleasant, and the atmosphere was very clean. But the restaurant wasn't operating and there weren't any restaurants nearby. Room service was poor, and we had a lot of language difficulty with the North Indian room service guys. During our three nights, we kept the same bed cover and blankets, got no toilet or room cleaning, and ended up cleaning the room ourselves. The room boys went to sleep right at 8 pm, so there was no one to contact if we needed anything. That's why I'm giving this rating.

The view from our room was very pleasant. The owner and staff were helpful, and we had a beautiful stay at the property.
