Aditya Hotel Orchha

I only needed a place for 12 hours, from evening to morning, so I chose this hotel because it's near Raja Ram Temple. That location was the one good point. The drains in the bathroom were blocked, the basins were stained red with sludge, the fittings were old and unclean, and the hand shower beside the WC had almost no pressure. There was dust all over the bedside tables. Apart from changing the linen, it seemed like they didn't clean at all. I got through the night, but I won't return. It really wasn't worth 1200/- per night.

There's no restaurant at the hotel, but plenty of places to eat nearby. The location is a plus, and there's some parking around it. It's a budget place, so don't come expecting luxury. Rooms are clean and there's a helper available if you need anything. I found the room with a bathtub much better than the other rooms. Lonely Planet and a few other portals rate it highly.

It's behind Ramraja temple. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were good, though the prices are high. The hotel management staff were really nice. Very good job.

Fine for a day's rest, but the rooms don't feel airy at night. The bathrooms are horrible, with broken accessories throughout. It's also expensive compared with the other options.
