The river view was lovely, but the extra cost came as a shock. We had chosen a regular restaurant table, then the waiters urged us to move to the new seating area by the river. Nobody mentioned a premium charge. When I asked about the high bill, the waiter said river view tables cost extra. That didn’t feel right, especially as this area wasn’t there on our first visit last year. This was our second lunch at the Restaurent. We enjoyed the fresh vegetarian food on our first visit in March 25, and the food was excellent this time too. But the prices were far above the menu. Is the view worth Rs 470/- + tax for each dish, Rs 150/- + tax for an ordinary Lachha Paratha, Rs. 175/- + tax for buttermilk, and 300+ tax for steamed rice? I wouldn’t expect that from an ordinary hotel restaurant. Not being told about the extra charges in advance left a bad taste.

The resort was beautiful, well kept, and a relaxing place to stay. Mridul and Rishi were especially helpful and polite, always ready to assist with a smile. Their quick service and hospitality made us feel welcome and comfortable. I’d recommend it for a peaceful stay.

We spent 2 days here for a wedding and had a wonderful experience. The wedding venues looked fantastic at night, especially the Royal cenotaph and Betwa view. The resort is near Ramji temple, and the staff, from the front desk to Mr Mradul, Rishi, and Mr. Pawan, were cooperative and helpful. We had the Gold Menu package. The food’s taste, texture, and combinations were just right. It’s an only vegetarian Resort in Orchha, and I’ll recommend it to my friends.

The location is great, with renowned historic places within a reasonable walk. We had a nice stay with our kids and family, though the food and service could be better.

We came for a small family function and had a good time. It’s one of the best resorts in orchha for a river view, with well-trained, polite staff and quick, fairly good service. The breakfast buffet was especially nice, and the food overall was fine.
