We spent four days at Bundeli Farm, about 4 km from Orchha's main tourist spots. Being a little out of town keeps it away from the crowds and makes for real peace and quiet. It felt like home, with spacious, clean, safe rooms and delicious homely meals from a wonderful cook. The staff were all polite, attentive, and ready to help with genuine smiles. Mamaji deserves a special mention. He helped us in every way he could, and felt like a genie who might even try to bring you the moon. He made the place feel deeply comforting and homebound. Orchha itself is isolated, serene, timeless, and breathtaking in its simplicity. People there are incredibly polite and seem to live by “Atithi Devo Bhava.” When you treat them with humility and respect, they return it with warmth and kindness. Bundeli Farm's quiet mornings, peaceful evenings, and sense of calm stayed with us after we left. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, authenticity, and heartfelt hospitality. 🌿
