Greendale Resort

We had a mountain view room, and the view was lovely. Service was excellent, and the peaceful, lush green setting makes this an underrated hotel. I'd say go for it if you're after a quiet stay.

The breakfast and service were very good, and the staff were good too. The room, though, had old furniture that didn't feel worth the price.

My booking at Greendale Resort was a terrible experience. The manager was rude, and the service was very poor from check-in onward. Food took an hour to arrive after I was told 20 to 25 minutes, and it came cold. They had no cold water, or even a one-liter bottle. When I raised these problems with the manager, the cook came over, pointed fingers at me, and spoke rudely. Because of all this, we had to leave late at night. The resort has around 24 rooms but only four staff members to handle everything, which clearly isn't enough. I've never encountered service this poor.

We booked four rooms for our holiday. The rooms were clean and the food itself was okay, but the service made the stay disappointing. Orders from the kitchen were repeatedly late and needed constant follow-up, which was frustrating after long days out. We usually returned to the hotel at night to relax, but after 10 PM there was hardly any staff to help; requests were ignored or took far too long. Having no 24-hour service was a major inconvenience for us as holiday travelers. We expected better, and the service problems overshadowed what could have been a much more comfortable stay.
