Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Pine N Peak, Pahalgam

The winding road up to Hotel Pine-N-Peak takes some effort, but the seclusion and scenery make the arrival worthwhile. It’s high among towering deodar forests, with wide views over the valley and a real sense of quiet. Even the air feels fresher. Our spacious room was spotless and had a private balcony, a lovely place to have morning coffee as the sunrise turned the mountains gold. Staff were attentive and professional, anticipating what we needed. Dining was another strong point, with a wide selection of well prepared local specialties and reliable international food. The hotel blends rustic wooden charm with modern five star luxury, and I’d wholeheartedly recommend it for an escape into nature.

Mr Shoaib and Mr Bashir at the front desk helped make our anniversary special, and the food had lots of variety and tasted great. Throughout our stay, everyone at Pine N Peak was warm and welcoming. The hotel has Kashmiri heritage touches, including carpets, paintings, and detailed woodwork, plus a recreation area and fitness center. From the garden, there are lovely pine trees, a river, and mountain views. Definitely recommended as a top place to stay in Pahalgam.

Suhaib knew the menu well, offered good suggestions, and made everything run smoothly. He was polite, attentive, and helpful without hovering, which really improved the meal. The food itself was fresh, well cooked, and seasoned just right. The relaxed, comfortable ambience made it easy to sit and enjoy eating instead of rushing off. I’ll definitely come back.

This was our third time at Pine n Peak, and we’ve had another lovely visit. Shoaib at reception deserves a special thank you. He’s great, friendly, and quick to help, which makes the stay all the more enjoyable. The hospitality keeps the place feeling welcoming. Looking forward to coming back!
