The room was decent, and the washroom was clean and roomy. Getting to the hotel was easy. Breakfast needs more variety: when I was there, the two choices, puttu and chapati, both came with chana masala. The TV also felt too small for the room.

It's in the city, yet the hotel and its surroundings were calm, and the room rates seemed reasonable. There was no parking, not even for bikes, and the corridor sometimes smelled of cigarette smoke. The toilet exhaust fan wasn't working, so the smell of your own waste lingers. Hot water was available only from 6 to 8 am, so an evening hot bath was out of the question. Some pipes were leaking. It is couple friendly.

The first-floor location puts it right in the middle of the city, but there is no dedicated parking, so you have to leave your vehicle somewhere else. Cleanliness and maintenance were awful during my two-night stay. Bed bugs were all over the bed, and the bathroom door had no lock. I wouldn't recommend it, especially with better hotels and amenities available.

For a budget hotel, I got a good AC room and a nice breakfast, and I enjoyed my stay. It's in the middle of town, though all the shops on the ground floor can make the hotel a little hard to spot. Parking is across the road. The elevator usually starts on the first floor; the ground-to-first-floor lift is in operator mode, and the security person will run it for you if you have luggage. Indian coffee house is directly across from the hotel.
