Hotel Imperial Regency

There’s plenty of parking, and getting to the hotel in the city is straightforward. The room could use better upkeep: some floor tiles were broken and uneven. Hot water was available, but I had to tell reception in advance. More charging points in the room would also make things easier.

The rooms were large and there was lots of parking, and the place is easy to reach at the bypass junction. But upkeep and service were awful. The bathroom smelled, the window grills were stained, and dust filled the cupboards and drawers. They really weren’t usable.

I paid Rs 1550 for a non-AC double room for three people after booking by phone, as they asked me to pay the full amount. I had to cancel because of a sudden health problem, and I gave three days' notice. At first they answered and said the refund would come soon, but nearly two weeks later I still haven't received it. They have stopped answering my calls. Please be careful.

Not good for families. The receptionist wasn’t friendly, the washroom and grills were dirty, and they didn’t provide soap or shampoo. The cramped rooms weren’t clean either, with dirty pillows and sheets. The TV was tiny, and the AC didn’t cool.
