Sri Ram Grand Inn

I was here for two days in January 2026. The room was spacious and neat, and reception was friendly. When noise bothered me, they changed my room right away. On the second day the lift stopped at the ground floor, though there hadn’t been a power cut, and I’d used it several times without trouble before. I called the reception number I had, explained what happened, and the receptionist came and opened it quickly. Overall, a pleasant stay and very good service.

The hotel felt safe, and the staff were polite, professional, and helpful. I spent 10 days there, from 25th January to 4th February, and was comfortable throughout. There’s plenty of room, the restaurant food was decent and served on time, and both the room rate and restaurant prices were reasonable. Being right opposite the bus stand made getting around easy.

Three of us came from Chennai, and two friends from the USA and Singapore stayed too. They shared the same view: the staff were committed and courteous, from reception to housekeeping and room service. The room was well kept and responses were prompt. The linens and towels could have been bleached for a better presentation, though the pillow covers looked better. Wishing the hotel more success and the next level.

The place felt like a yatri nivas. The rooms and linens were dirty, there were cockroaches in the bathrooms, and all the hardware looked very old.
