Roy and Sharon are such warm, friendly owners, and they shared lots of helpful information about Goa. Breakfast is homemade and comes with the room. The place feels like a real piece of history, with antique furniture alongside modern comforts like air conditioning and a television in every room. This hotel is clearly a labour of love. I’d recommend it to everyone ❤️

Roy and his family made our two nights here really enjoyable. The owners are friendly and know a lot about the area, including places to visit and eat. The building is around 200 years old, traditional Portuguese style, with beautiful rooms. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Panjim. You won’t be disappointed.

The owners are a really sweet couple who meet guests over breakfast and help you figure out the surroundings. That made our stay feel special. The property is charming, well kept, and has all the facilities we needed. Breakfast was delicious too. We tried plenty of bakeries, but none matched what they served here. Highly recommend!

The owners, Mr. Roy and his wife, were so thoughtful and kind that I felt completely at home. They took care of every detail, and when I left, they even walked me to my taxi. That genuine care made saying goodbye bittersweet. Hospedaria Abrigo de Botelho is centrally located yet wonderfully peaceful, with spotless rooms and a lovely breakfast in the inner garden. An unforgettable, comfortable, welcoming place to stay in Goa.
