Hotel Orion Premiere

I stayed in Room No 607 on 23rd July, and left really unhappy. The bathroom water wouldn't drain properly, and turning on the tap caused some water to leak from the shower. The floor kept getting wet: even after it was mopped dry, it was wet again when we returned four hours later. I slipped on my bare feet but managed not to fall. Older visitors should be especially careful, and might want to avoid this place. We weren't even allowed to use the swimming pool. For what they charged, there are much better hotels. I couldn't wait to get out.

The people at the front desk were rude, and the service was awful. My room was dirty and had a leak. I regret picking this place. Please don't book it.

I stay in Panjim regularly for work, and this recent two-night visit was fantastic. The rooms and service were both great. The hotel has recently been renovated and changed management. I'd definitely recommend it if you're after somewhere in Panjim, near the casinos.

The handy location near Panjim, attractions, food, shops, and parking was about the only thing that met expectations. I booked a premium suite, but the room felt like a letdown from the moment I walked in. Dust and rubbish were on the washroom floor, and a half-dead cockroach was in the sitting area. The furniture was worn and falling apart. The mini-fridge was switched off, and plugging it in cut the room's power. The beds and linen were clean enough to use, but the suite looked onto the back of the hotel, with garbage, cigarette ends, and bottles in view. Breakfast was disappointing too. By 10 am there was hardly anything left, and the seating area was poor. The dining was bad enough that I ate elsewhere and skipped the next day's breakfast, even though I'd paid for it. Service elsewhere was slow, and reception staff kept asking whether I was a guest whenever I came and went. The place is old and poorly maintained. It doesn't live up to a three-star rating, and my suite certainly didn't meet what I expected. I wouldn't recommend it.
