Hotel Park Plaza

Amisha at reception was especially attentive, bringing a kettle, instant coffee and tea bags to our room, then helping with towels and the AC remote. Mr.Mantu was also kind whenever we came in, and helped us park across the road in the paid parking area since the hotel has no parking of its own. We stayed with friends and had a lovely time. The rooms, lift and hallways were fresh and clean, the linen was clean, and the small bathroom had very good hot water. The location in central Panjim made it easy to walk to restaurants, the Casino, church and Inox. Nothing to complain about. For this category, I think the ratings are too low and it deserves five stars.

The reception could be a little more patient. The staff were generally helpful, but at times they seemed impatient, which affected our first impression. Manager Alex, on the other hand, was warm and professional, and made sure we felt welcome throughout. Our room was comfortable, clean and well cared for, and the location made it easy to explore Goa. We enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back. The management, cleanliness and convenient setting make it a solid option in Panjim.

There’s no restaurant in the hotel and no room service, so it didn’t feel worth the price. The front desk staff were rude, which made the whole visit frustrating. The bathroom was very cramped and had neither a main tap nor even a basic bucket. They provide just one complimentary 1-litre water bottle per day, and extra bottles cost more than they should. A deeply disappointing stay.

Alex was kind, cooperative and helped me with everything I needed, which made the visit more pleasant. I spent two days at Park Plaza Hotel near Azad Maidan and had a very good time. It’s well kept and has what you need for a comfortable stay. Being right in the city centre also meant major facilities were easy to reach. The staff were courteous and helpful, and I’d recommend the hotel.
