Hotel Petes Hideaway by OYO Rooms

The hotel is in a very good location, but the complimentary breakfast was below average and there wasn’t much of it. The bed was decent. Most of the other things, including the AC, looked very old. The bathrooms need repairs and weren’t cleaned properly, which made for a bad experience.

I’ve been coming here for decades, and it’s still the same place. It works well for budget travellers, with clean, tidy rooms and friendly staff. It’s right opposite Marriott in Miramar.

During the International film festival 2022, I was a delegate at the event in Marriot and needed somewhere to leave my two-wheeler, so I parked in front of hotel Pete hideaway. Some men outside, who seemed to be hotel drivers, were wearing white uniforms. They were extremely rude and started abusing me for no reason. A terrible experience.

My experience with oyo has been awful. I booked through them, but they cancelled, saying the property's tariff was too low, and moved me to pramila court. When I got there, I was told that booking was cancelled too. I contacted oyo ten times and had to explain the same story to a manager every single time. They quote one price and then give you another at check-in, so don't trust the price shown. I wouldn't recommend oyo, especially since they stopped assigning support managers. Worst experience.
