I’ve enjoyed stays at other Novotel properties and think it’s an amazing brand, but this one was a disappointment. The staff were extremely rude. We came as a group for a corporate conference in Goa, and even a basic request to tag our luggage went badly. The woman said we could leave the bags at reception without tags. When I asked why, she snapped, “Have some patience, we are trying.” We arrived at 12.00, though check-in was supposed to be at 3.00pm. I went for lunch and spent some time with my network. When I came back at 3.25pm, I asked about my check-in and was told it would take longer because the rooms were occupied. I finally got in half an hour later. Mr Aloke seemed to be the manager, and he was extremely rude, treating people like a headmaster scolding his pupils. Novotel Management, you need staff who meet your standards. We aren’t checking in to Lala hotel. I hope things improve!

The breakfast was top notch, with plenty of Indian and international choices, and the restaurant staff were amazing. The pool area was calm and relaxing, and the pool boy looked after us well. We had a very enjoyable 3 nights here for my husband’s 70th birthday. The hotel is well presented, the staff are all friendly, and nothing seemed too much trouble. We also met a couple of staff members who were training and wish them well with Novotel group. All in all, a first class stay.

We came to Novotel Panjim on a family vacation, and it was a genuinely relaxing stay, especially with kids. The play zone was well maintained and kept them happily occupied, which gave us parents some much needed peace. The pool area felt safe, with a staff member always nearby and ready to help. Everyone was polite and responsive, and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Great support, a warm atmosphere, and a very family friendly place to stay.

Gunjan, Komal, and the team made breakfast at Novotel Goa Panjim especially pleasant. They greeted us warmly, were attentive and friendly, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and looked after. The spread was fresh and delicious, with a great variety. Everything from the live counters to the drinks was well prepared and neatly presented.

The staff were attentive no matter what their role, and throughout the stay we felt like guests rather than customers. It was a fantastic experience that exceeded the European standard. The hotel is a real gem. Novotels can often have the same decor, room layout, and services, but this one felt far above average. The neighborhood seems mainly business focused, yet the hotel is welcoming. The pool is well positioned, with sun loungers, and there was no street noise. My room on the 5th floor was beautifully decorated and cozy, with a balcony screened by plants. The bar on the 1st floor looks over the pool and is a pleasant place to relax, including with the voucher given on arrival. There’s even a small Casino!
