Regenta Inn Palacio De Goa

We had six rooms booked, but on arrival the hotel said our room wasn't vacant. They put me in a different category, then said I would have to leave that room too. Service was poor as well, with water bottles not brought on time. The manager showed no hospitality sense. Worst experience ever.

Being able to walk to cafés and shops was handy, and we enjoyed the option of taking an evening stroll by the riverfront or Miramar Beach. The hotel is also close to Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church and well connected to Goa's main heritage sites, which worked well for our family visit to Panjim. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We had booked for three, and an extra cot was provided without any hassle. There was an electric kettle and tea supplies in the room. Staff were polite, helpful, and well behaved throughout. Outside food isn't allowed, though rented vehicles are easy to find just outside. Room service, toilet, cleanliness, food, and staff behaviour all get five stars from me. A very nice, comfortable family stay.

The food was delicious, with a great choice at both breakfast and dinner, and the hospitality was excellent. I've stayed here twice for work, each time for at least 15 days. The Superior rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained, with interiors that suit the Goan charm. It's also an easy walk to Immaculate of Conception Church and Panjim market, which makes the location convenient for work trips.

I only stayed for a day, but what really stayed with me was how they handled my forgotten charger. I'd checked out and left the city when I realized I'd left it in the room. Housekeeping had found it, and after I contacted them, they sent it to me by courier. I really admire that gesture. Thank you.
