Vivanta Goa, Miramar

The rooms are really nice, and the kitchen staff are amazing, but the arrival and lobby don’t feel like a Taj Vivanta property. The hotel needs a facelift, and the lobby feels small and cramped. We booked a sea view room, but all we could see were trees and gas cylinders. The food spread is limited, and at times you may wait up to 30 minutes for a table.

Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a large balcony where we could enjoy sea views and beautiful sunsets. The à la carte menu had a wide variety of delicious dishes. We also felt completely at ease because of the hotel’s safety and security, which mattered most to us. The staff were warm, attentive, cooperative, and quick to help throughout the stay. Their care made the whole experience wonderful from start to finish. Everything exceeded expectations, and I highly recommend it. We had first planned to stay at another Vivanta, but I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The location here is much better, and the views are stunning 😍. The food was absolutely delicious, honestly the best food experience I’ve had in India so far. Many thanks to Mr Uday Sah for his hospitality and excellent service 🙏, and to Mr Saurabh, the operations assistant, for being so attentive.

The stay and food were good, but the location didn’t live up to what we expected. We thought we’d have access to the rooftop and beach, but that wasn’t the case. The rooftop photo showing the pool facing Miramar beach is misleading, since the pool is on the opposite side of the beach. The reception team also needs to do better with guest satisfaction and greet people more warmly.
