We still had no hot water after nearly three days. Starting the geyser gave you a shock if you touched the tap to turn on the water, and the problem still hadn’t been fixed. Then my colleague forgot to leave the key at reception, and they refused to open the door, giving silly reasons. It’s been a bad experience. I’m still outside the hotel waiting for my colleague to come back.
The bedsheets weren’t clean, which is why I’m giving three stars. The rooms and room service were good, though, and the receptionist was kind and very helpful in getting us around.
I didn’t feel safe as a woman here. This was the worst stay I’ve had.
For wheelchair access, there’s just one stair, and the hotel can manage that for a disabled person. The room itself was fine, and the roof and bathroom were clean. But when we checked in as a couple, the bedsheets, blanket and pillow all smelled really bad, and the towels were dirty. They changed things after we complained, but the pillowcase and blanket cover were dirty again. There’s no laundry service.
The staff were warm and behaved well. I had a wonderful time, and I’ll definitely come back whenever I’m in the city.
