Silky Hotel & Resorts

The room at silky resorts (shimla kalka highway) was unclean when I stayed with my wife and one year old daughter. There was dust on the carpet and table, a stained bedsheet, and a lingering smell of stale smoke. The washroom was very dirty, and the geyser didn’t work. Basic family items like slippers, towels, and handwash were missing. If you expect a clean, responsive place while travelling with family, I’d look elsewhere.

The rooms weren't premium quality, but I still spent two nights here happily. I attended a marriage function for two days, and the amenities were good apart from the rooms. All in all, a nice experience.

The room I stayed in had a torn bedsheet, lacked some basic amenities, and the washroom hygiene was poor. The bathroom was wet and not clean at all. I hope someone looks into this.

The staff and ambience made for a pleasant stay at The Silky Resort. I did notice a few small problems: an old mirror, a lock that stuck, and average food.
